All-Star Pinoy Big Brother Rules - SECOND DRAFT

BLOGGING
- All VHs must post at least two blog entries per week.
- All posts must be published in the PBBFG blog by BBK as soon as he sees it.
- If only one post is made within the week, the VH concerned may opt for an additional +1 evicting points for the next nomination, or he must make a pure Tagalog post.
- If no post is made within the week, the VH concerned gets +2 evicting points.

PBBFG BOARD
- There is no post amount regulation.
- VHs are not allowed to post in the threads which are exclusive to guests.
- There must be a visitor's thread where the visitors can freely interact with the VHs about the game. VHs, however, are not allowed to discuss their nomination plans and the like.
- Diaries must be updated every Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Diary posts must be a reflection about what happened in the past week.

COMMUNICATIONS
- BBK may communicate with the VHs through Mail, Friendster, YM or the boards.
- VHs must send an acknowledgement message to BBK in the same media as they received the information. A VH who does not reply to BBK is understood to have not received the message. A VH would then be assigned to inform the unaware VH, and the unaware VH must message BBK about receipt of the information. To verify if the information reached, both the VH-messenger and the VH-recipient must send BBK a message. If the VH-recipient does not send a message, the VH-messenger gets +1 evicting point.
- VHs must be online on Friday night, at 9:00 PM. If quorum reaches half, +0.5 evicting points must be awarded to the non-attendees. If quorum does not reach half, all VHs will be awarded +1 evicting point. Activities may be done during this time.

ACTIVITIES
- There must be two activities per week. One must be a quiz and the other must be at the discernment of BBK. The latter of the two activities will give 5 saving points up for grabs.
- VHs are allowed to initiate their own activity, be it a quiz or a game. If more than half of the VHs performs the activity four days after proposal, proponent gets 2 saving points.
- Every two weeks, "The Battle" must occur. 3 teams must be formed for every challenge, with the VHs being grouped by BBK. The group who will win the challenge wins 3 saving points per member, and has the right to give one of the two remaining groups 1 evicting point per member.

IMMUNITY
- Among the members of the winning group, BBK must select a member who he thinks has outperformed the others to be given immunity.

VIOLENCE
- For the first offense, +5 evicting points is to be imposed.
- For the second and succeeding offenses, a VH is up for eviction unless another VH reaches more than 20 evicting points.
- All VHs must judge within 3 days if the act is considered violence and penalty must be imposed.

ACCIDENT, ILLNESS or VACATION
- Whoever knows of a co-VH's mishaps must inform BBK immediately. Proper action must be taken.
- One-week exemption is to be imposed for minor problems. For major problems, forced eviction is to be done. However, if the forced evictee can participate in the next eviction, he is given the chance to do so.
- VHs taking a vacation must inform BBK and the VHs how long he is to leave. Every day in leave must correspond to +0.25 eviction points (+2 points maximum). Failure for information means a +2 eviction point penalty.

GUESTS
- BBK may recruit guests to assist VHs in their activities.

NOMINATION AND EVICTION
- Nomination and eviction must be done every other week.
- A VH MUST assign +3 eviction points to one VH, +2 eviction points to another VH and -2 saving points to the VH he wants to stay. He must give a justification.
- A VH must provide a codename when he nominates. Failure to do so means +1 evicting point. BBK must assign a codename to the person not providing one.
- A VH refusing to vote gets +4 eviction points.

VOLUNTARY EXIT
- A VH may voluntary exit by posting a post entitled "I hereby leave the Virtual House" in their blog. It must contain a justification on your reason to leave.
- VHs who quit may not be replaced after Day 25.

FORCED EVICTION
- A VH may be forced to leave for violating the rights of a VH or by failing to comply to the activities.

Eyy, guys. Hw u all doin? Ds s Neil-G (S1 Runner Up). U have no idea hw exicted i am for ds game. we've been waiting 4 ds since S1 was over. Hehehehehe. Hoping 2 build stronger frendship here especially among the housemates i never hav gotten to talk 2 yet. Hehehehe.

BBK, y do u have d make ds pre-all star activity so serious? dnt u think we shud get 2 knw each other frst? hehehehe. bt stil, its ok. ur d owner of d house. hehehehe.

Here are my comments 2 d proposed house rules:

(1) Blogging twice a week seems too much especially for d working group, whose skeds are really tight. I have to disagree dat it should b an obligation for a housemate 2 post even one blog per week. I actually visit PBBFG almost evryday altough i dnt let d housemates feel my presence....... and i have to say dat some blogs are nice while some others are "REALLY SO BORING AND WITHOUT SENSE". Sorry. If you really wanna write something, it would always b better if u do because u feel like it and NOT BECAUSE YOU ARE FORCED TO DO SO.

(2) PBBFG Board Diary Posts? What the.... hehehehhe. Would this b an obligation too? Not dat im complaining but I DONT FIND ITS IMPORTANCE. Is it just b make others know dat ur there? Der r a lot more enjoyable ways to communicate wid d housemates. I SHOULD SAY IT SHOULD NOT B AN OBLIGATION!

(3) VH MESSENGER? hahahahaha. And now, somebody has to bare the responsibilty of BBK to inform INACTIVE, UNINSTERESTED HOUSEMATES to be always informed of the activities? I mean, if a housemate does not want to participate, then let it be. Anyway, he'd be out of d house due to d punishments. I dont find the justice why someone has to be punished 4 somebody else who does not even care about participating?

(4) THE 9:00PM FRIDAY QUORUM. Well, this definitely does not work for me. I work 4 a call center. I wake up 2am, 5 times a week 4 wrk. For this type of shift, one has 2 get enough sleep or ud be sleeptalking on ur station. Good for those living normal lives. I believe it might be unfair to impose this specific rule considering der s a punishment, espcially wen not all housemates have the exact schedule.

(5) ACTIVITY REWARDS. I appreciate the effort of pushing group activities to build stronger bond among the housemates. This i have to agree with.... hehehehhe

(6) IMMUNITY. I would strongly disagree that the decision on who gets the immunity should be under the hands of the house owner. First, it is very subjective. Im pretty sure this would have biases. Second, to avoid fights over who is deserving and who's not, BBK should not b making d decision. I BELEIVE IMMUNITY SHOULD B EARNED THROUGH PIONT SYSTEM..... to make it transparent.

(7) FORCED EVICTION. Violating the rights of the housemates should be defined. Would this include virtual fights or attacks on human character? hmmmm......


It's all comments i could provide right now. Hehhehee. Still havent had sleep since 12:30am. hehehhehe. Til i could think of something to add to the houserules, this would b everything i need to say.

To Jomar and Gee, good work, guys! Bow ako sa inyong dalawa 4 coming up with such brilliant ideas. hehehehhehe.

Thank you Kuya Neil-G for your sentiments.

(1) We'll take into consideration on the blogging requirements. It has been a rule in the later parts of S3. Perhaps make it one blog per week?
(2) It's also an idea of S3. The VHs can express their angst on their co-VHs
(3) That is already put into consideration. The aim of this is to develop communication and bridges between VHs.
(4) Gee and I are thinking of scrapping this rule or giving little bonuses (0.5 saving points) to attendees.

(6) I revised that provision to make it go something like this: "VHs can only use their immunity whenever they are part of the winning group in “The Battle”. They can only be immune once in their stay at the virtual house." Hope you like it.
(7) Extreme violations of house rules and attacks on human character. Virtual attacks are considered if they destroy the reputation of a person. But the attacks on human character must be classified in violence. Therefore, the only provision on FE are the extreme rule violations.

You're heaven sent! Gee and I are waiting for people like you! Your suggestions are really really appreciated! I just wish our co-VHs would be like you. This thing needs more refinement.

I'll try. But it's a long and complicated process. Jowk...

Basically ang gusto ni Ate Gee lagyan ng dagdag na power ang nomination, pero dapat magkaroon rin ng enough opportunities na ma-penalize or magkaroon ng reward points.

Oh well. Any suggestions?
